Cod or Orange Fillet 1 (about ½ lb)
Ginger chopped 2 tbsn
Onion chopped 1 cup
Coriander powder 2 tbsn
Red chilly powder ½ tspn
Salt as per taste
Tamarind paste 1 tbsn
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Cooking oil 1 tbsn
Mustard seeds 1 tspn.

Clean and cut fish into 1inch pieces.
Heat oil in a deep pan and add musard seeds and when they crackle, add ginger and onion and fry for 5 minutes. Add 2 cups of water and tamarind paste and bring to a boil add all the spices. Mix well, reduce the heat and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes.
Put fish into the gravy and cook till fish is done and gravy thickened.
Garnish with curry leaves and serve with rice.
