Rice 1 cup
Coconut Milk 1˝ cup
Water 3/4 cup
Salt as per taste
Green chilly 2 sliced
Urid dal 1 tbsn
Mustard 1 tspn
Cooking oil 1 tbsn
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Coconut grated ˝cup

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds when they crackle add urid dal, green chilly and curry leaves and fry till urid dal is golden brown.
Add rice and fry till it is no more transparent. Add coconut milk, water and salt and bring to boil.
Reduce heat and cook covered on low heat till rice is done.
Garnish with coconut and serve hot.
