🥩 Ingredients:

For the Carne Asada

1 ½–2 lbs flank or skirt steak

¼ cup olive oil

¼ cup fresh lime juice

¼ cup orange juice

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp vinegar (apple cider or white)

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp oregano

Salt & pepper, to taste

For the Homemade Salsa

4 Roma tomatoes

1 jalapeño (seeds removed if you prefer mild)

¼ cup chopped onion

¼ cup fresh cilantro

1 clove garlic

Juice of 1 lime

Salt, to taste

To Serve

Warm corn or flour tortillas

Chopped onion

Cilantro

Lime wedges

Optional: avocado, cotija cheese

🔥 Instructions
1. Marinate the Steak

Whisk together olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, and spices.
Add the steak, coat well, and marinate at least 1 hour (overnight is best).

2. Make the Homemade Salsa

Roast or pan-char the tomatoes and jalapeño until darkened and softened.
Blend with onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, and salt.
Chill until ready to serve.

3. Grill the Steak

Heat grill or cast-iron pan to high.
Cook carne asada 4–6 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
