🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 3 carrots, sliced

  • 3 celery stalks, sliced

  • 3 cups chicken broth

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp dried parsley

  • ½ tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1 cup frozen peas

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or homemade dumplings — optional)


🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the Crockpot

Add chicken, onion, carrots, celery, broth, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.

2. Slow Cook

Cover and cook on:

  • Low for 6–7 hours, or

  • High for 3–4 hours

Until the chicken is tender.

3. Shred the Chicken

Remove chicken, shred with two forks, and return it to the crockpot.
Stir in the cream of chicken soup and frozen peas.

4. Add the Dumplings

Cut refrigerated biscuit dough into small pieces.
Place them gently on top of the mixture.

5. Final Cook

Cook on High for 1 hour, or until dumplings are fully cooked and fluffy.
